Kansas lawmakers pass Sharia Law bill

TOPEKA -- A bill that would ban the use of foreign legal codes in Kansas courts — broadly written but particularly aimed at Islamic “Sharia” law — is on its way to the governor.

  1. The vote was overwhelming. The house passed the law 120-0, not one state congressman dared to disagree, and the senate vote was 33-3, overwhelming as well. This is the propper role of the LEGISLATIVE branch of the governmnent, to look and see the dangerous trends buiding up in some sectors of society and pass a law to protect the society they serve against these dangers. Well done Kansas!! A rare example now-a-days of a state legislative body actually doiong what it is supposed to.
