CWN - In an interview with CNN correspondent Christiane Amanpour, Cardinal Peter Turkson said that Africa has been spared from the worst pains of the sex-abuse scandal because of the cultural forces arrayed in opposition to homosexuality.
“African traditional systems kind of protect or have protected its population against this tendency,” the cardinal said. He suggested that the rejection of homosexuality has protected children from molesters. Read more here:
