It is the closest Saturday to the 13th of October, the anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun, when Our Lady appeared in Fatima, Portugal and performed a miracle witnessed by more than 70,000 people.

America Needs Fatima promotes the public recitation of the Rosary on this symbolic date since 2007 and the number of rallies have been increasing every year.  A real amazing success.

Last year we had 12,629 prayer rallies.

And this year our goal is 14,000.

All you need to do is pick a public side walk in your town or city, gather some friends, and stand with a banner that America Needs Fatima will provide, and there you have it, a Public Rosary Rally!

The answer is simple.

Back in 2007 there were already many reasons to pray for America. But now -- in 2015 -- the need for prayer has only increased.

This year our nation weeps… again.

You see, added to the shame of Roe v Wade, now we have the dishonor of Obergefell v Hodges, which imposes the sin of same-sex “marriage” on all 50 states.

Justice Antonin Scalia called this U.S. Supreme Court decision “strikingly unrepresentative,” because millions and millions of Americans flatly reject it.

And God’s marriage cannot be redefined by any Supreme Court in the world.

But we have so much to pray for.

This October, our country needs public rosaries more than ever...

Let us blanket America with prayer:

-- Rosaries in reparation to God;

-- Rosaries begging Him to save America; and

-- Rosaries for the future of our children & culture.

Public prayer not only allays God’s wrath, but it also brings down His blessings.

As a way of saying "thank you," we will send a special envoy to Fatima, Portugal with a RED ROSE in the name of each Captain leading a Rosary Rally. This rose will be offered at the very spot where Our Lady of Fatima appeared in 1917.
