For me it is always inspiring to watch this video of the funeral of the great war hero, Col. John Ripley, the great victor at the battle for the Dong Ha Bridge in Vietnam, on Easter morning 1972.
It’s been just three years that Ripley died suddenly on October 28, 2008 at his home in Annapolis, Maryland of undetermined causes at age 69.
On October 28, 2009, my TFP-colleague, Norman Fulkerson published An American Knight, The Life of Col. John W. Ripley.
