Please Read With Caution: very disturbing
I am sorry to have to tell you this: but it is true.
The 5th episode of ABC’s Scandal series depicted an abortion taking place with Silent Night (Christmas music!) being sung in the background.
The plot:
Olivia Pope, the head of crisis management in Washington DC, is aborting the child conceived during an affair with the president of the United States.
The camera shows abortionist reaching for the instruments to perform the abortion while Silent Night is played in the background.
The show ends with “Ave Maria” being played while Olivia enjoys a large glass of red wine happily gazing at her Christmas tree…the same night just after her abortion.
I also read in LifeSiteNews that “The choir sings ‘Hallelujah!’ as Olivia exhales and stares serenely at the ceiling.”
During the abortion, Olivia’s father, speaking to an off-screen character, says:
“Family is a burden…a pressure point, soft tissue, an illness, and antidote to greatness. You think you’re better off with people who rely on you, depend on you, but you’re wrong, because you will inevitably end up needing them, which makes you weak, pliable. Family doesn’t complete you. It destroys you.”
Let me ask you something. The blasphemous and gross mixture of religious songs with abortion is bad enough, but what about bashing the institution of the family?
Is this what we want for America and for our children?
Another thing...
...we’ve all been witnessing recently in the news how pro-abortion advocates run, hide, and ignore acknowledging the accuracy of descriptions of abortion procedures:
It is the brutal killing and ripping apart of human babies in the womb.
And now, Disney/ABC airs this sinful, cynical, and callous scene of a casual abortion mixed with Christmas and religious songs.
I am really fearful for America. I fear God’s wrath may fall upon us unless He sees a true rejection of these atrocious sins.
Please join me in protesting this horrible show and please tell ABC:
Abortion Is Murder – NOT Entertainment! And stop confusing our children and trying to justify the sin of abortion by playing Christmas and religious songs with it.
