The St. Lawrence Catholic Student Center at the University of Kansas, was the sight of a dinner to hear about the March for Life that took place in Washington, DC.
A number of Catholic KU students traveled by buses to the annual march. The event was sponsored by the Pro-Life office of the Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS.
A good turnout of students and adults were present to hear various accounts by students about what impressed them most at the march. Some had been to several marches before, for others it was their first time. It was obvious that all were deeply moved by the experience.
Students from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas also were in attendance as was the Archbishop.
It was resolved to make this an annual event. The students are also going to set up and man tables promoting life in the student union.
