Crusade for the public consecration of Ireland to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Message from the Steering Committee for the National Consecration of Ireland (SCNCI) to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

(Based in Knock, Co. Mayo)

Just a bit of background Bernard, the SCNCI was formed on the 2nd of July Feast day of The Immaculate Heart of Mary to duplicate in Ireland what happened when the National Consecration to the Immaculate Heart was accomplished by the Portuguese Bishops in 1931 which lead to a vast Christian renewal in both Church and state (www.scnci.org)

The SCNCI meets once a week at Knock shrine with the permission of the P.P. Msgr Quinn.  T

To realize our objective of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, at the Knock Novena 14th August we held a presentation dinner to launch a nationwide rosary rally to obtain pledges from the public to offer their daily rosaries for the intention of the bishops of Ireland consecrating Ireland to the Immaculate heart of Mary in their daily rosary for one year.

Our target is 35,500 pledges which breaks down to 13 million rosaries said over one year which will be presented to the Irish bishop's conference and request that they accomplish a solemn, public consecration of the country to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

We have only been operating 6 weeks and we already have 6,700 pledges which is over a quarter of our target already!

Please spread the word!

Our Lady of Knock, please keep the USA in the crossing of your arms.
