Woman Wakes Up As Doctors Ready to Harvest Her Organs

From The GateWayPundit: "Her family was told she was brain dead..... Now she’s back at home cooking dinner with her family....The world of organ donation in Denmark is in turmoil. A documentary was aired earlier this month which showed family members reacting in anguish to the news that their 19-year-old daughter was brain dead after a car accident, agreeing to donate her organs and allowing doctors to turn off her respirator....."But we made a mistake underway and made the family believe that their daughter and sister would die."....The hospital acknowledged that the question of organ donation should not have been raised as there...

  1. If you are on life support you arenot dead. The Soul cannot leave the body until the life support is turned off. Yet for organs to be taken , life support has to be on. One man whos organs were to be taken was going to be given anaesthetic beforehand. His parents asked why this would be necessary if he had died before the procedure.Good question. If you are on life support you arenot dead. Veronica.

    1. I read a case recently where it was after the entire procedure had been completed, the family reviewing the records discovered that anesthesia was administered, as you say, to their family member, who was "brain dead," (which made no sense - why anesthesia?) but then they noticed that there were two pronouncements of death. The first one was a technicality, whereby they removed the oxygen apparatus for a short time, something like two minutes, then made the technical "death" notes in the chart, then RECONNECTED THE OXYGEN without any explanation. Apparently it was to maintain the heart tissue to keep it from becoming useless without oxygen. Then, the technically "dead" patient went into organ harvesting operation, after which a second pronouncement of "death" was made, and that one was used for the organ donation documentation, which requires the heart (and some other organs) to only be taken from a donor before death, and not after death. How they can have two death certificates is another "good question."

Ask your anesthesiologist about this and he will tell you, "Okay, then when your turn comes up when you need a heart transplant, we'll tell you that you can't have one." Snicker-giggle-smirk. They teach them this sophistry in medical school and it lasts a lifetime. Whatever happened to the Hippocratic Oath?
