One of our young volunteers placed a call to a woman from Michigan who was a rally captain last year. She informed the volunteer that she would not be able to become a rally captain this year due to her poor health. You see, the day after her rally she experienced a heart attack which required 5 days of hospitalization plus a long recovery. She said that her husband discouraged her from being a rally captain this year because of her serious health concerns.
She called back later and informed the volunteer that there were things happening in her life that she believed was Our Lady calling her to become a rally captain again this year. She also just learned from her doctor that she may have cancer. She told the volunteer that made her more determined than ever to hold a rally again this year for Our Lady.
