For decades, TFP-America Needs Fatima has been working very hard to make Our Lady's Fatima message known and practiced in our beloved country, and in the world, with special emphasis on prayer, amendment of life and penance.
Our goal was to avoid the terrible punishment that Our Lady predicted at Fatima, and to win souls back to God to avoid people going to Hell for all eternity.
Our work has always been very positive, focusing on the hope that comes from Our Lady’s message of conversion and virtuous living, in opposition to the sinful lifestyles that cause so much physical and mental and spiritual despair.
Among the works we have published is the paperback "Fatima: A Message More Urgent than Ever" by Luiz Solimeo, available here:
In this book, in chapter 16, p. 127, we read:
"Our Lady listed the following punishments 'if [men] do not stop offending God': ...Many nations will be annihilated...”
Then on p. 129, we read:
“This statement has a political meaning, signifying that many nations will lose their sovereignty and cease to exist as independent nations; a physical, material meaning, as a result of cataclysms of great magnitude such as a giant tsunami that destroys a whole coastal area; or a succession of earthquakes, seaquakes and fires; or still, a nuclear hecatomb that sweeps entire nations, leaving them totally depopulated, destroyed, 'annihilated' and a psychological and cultural meaning: as occurred, for example, with the Roman Empire of the West as a consequence of the barbarian invasions...
“....abortion becomes the official law of the land, unions against nature are placed on equal footing with marriage, euthanasia is adopted, people wear clothes that emphasize the most intimate parts of the human body, nudism or semi-nudism spreads on the beaches and elsewhere..all this is a proclamation of man's rejection of the Law of God..."
None of this is new to those who take the Blessed Mother's words seriously and who have recognized the increasing signs of natural disaster and other events such as wars and persecutions of the Church.
But now, with the recent events in Japan, and elsewhere, we are reminded of Our Lady’s words and the need to spread Her call to conversion with ever greater urgency.
Our Lady’s predictions are those of a mother whose intention is to save as many of Her children as possible before its too late.
Is there a better time than now in Lent to reflect on these happenings?
