Is there nothing sacred? Is there nothing off limits?
Now, Our Lady is being used by the “patron saint of permanent fat removal,” as part of a web site, book promotion, and marketing program called:
"Our Lady of Weight Loss"
The web site sells diet products and has an awful picture of what seems to be Our Lady of Perpetual Help that serves as its logo. On the logo of “Our Lady of Weight Loss” instead of a halo around Her head, there is a scale with the pound numbers on it visible.
I’d rather not duplicate that false and offensive image of Our Lady here.
The company that promotes "Our Lady of Weight Loss" also offers a book for sale on Amazon with the same name:
Our Lady of Weight Loss: Miraculous and Motivational Musings from the Patron Saint of Permanent Fat Removal
