Very Blessed Rosary Rally in Bridgeport, CT

Area Catholics gathered for a Public Square Rosary Rally in Bridgeport, CT on Saturday December 11th, to pray for the urgent conversion of America and ask for God's blessing on our Church and our country.

This was on the eve of the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  No gift to Our Lord and Our Lady are unnoticed or unrewarded.  The efforts of all those in attendance, included setting aside some time from their busy schedule and braving the cold weather, and was reward by the peace and blessings they all experienced.

There was an overwhelming sense of happiness among the participants.

The prayers could be hardly heard over the noise of the passing traffic, but it was noted that it is always noisy on the battlefield!

Only this battlefield was a spiritual field of battle and those present know they achieved a victory, by attracting graces from God for the Church, country and family.

The rally participants had two unexpected visitors stop to pray with them.  One was a priest from a local parish who saw the
statue of Our Lady of Fatima and those praying and decided to stop and pray with them and the second was a woman who also stopped to pray with them when she saw the same.

Father blessed the rally participants before he left to go hear confessions at the local parish.

As Catholics we know that the way to communicate with God is through prayer, that Our Lord said, that whenever two or more gather in My name, I will be present and that according to the saints, public prayer is the best form of prayer to attract God's blessings.  Using this criteria we know we had a winning plan!

Until the next time they will meet, Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
