St. Titus was converted by St. Paul the Apostle and became one of his chosen disciples traveling with St. Paul on many apostolic missions.
At a certain point, St. Paul commissioned St. Titus to deliver a severe rebuke to the Corinthians who were in danger of losing the faith because of scandals among them. At the same time, St. Titus was to ask alms for the church in Jerusalem. Because he knew well how to be firm and how to inspire respect, St. Titus accomplished such a difficult mission.
St. Titus, in emulating the spirit of his mentor, was an excellent example of a perfect disciple. St. Paul referred to him "as my true child in our common faith".
Let us ask St. Titus to help us to be true children of Our Lady, admiring her virtues in order to fulfill any mission she may give us for the glory of her Son.
