Catholics of Ireland, attention! A terrible blasphemy is coming to your country…ACT NOW!

The highly blasphemous art exhibit "Our Lady and Other Queer Santas," by the self-avowed lesbian Alma Lopez, will soon be on display at the University College Cork.

Unless you speak out and peacefully denounce this terrible blasphemy… because it shows Our Lady of Guadalupe in a floral bikini, hands on hips, held up by a bare breasted angel.  Shocking!!!

Here are the facts:

On June 24th, the University College Cork (Ireland) is hosting the blasphemous art exhibit "Our Lady and Other Queer Santas" as part of a conference on Hispanic Studies.

At the same conference on Hispanic Studies, Alma Lopez will give a lecture by the same title, and also sign copies of her blasphemous book called “Our Lady of Controversy: Alma Lopez'sIrreverent’ Apparition,” which has that same blasphemous and impure collage of Our Lady of Guadalupe on its cover.

This series of offenses against the Blessed Virgin Mary’s purity are about to arrive in Ireland.

Here in America, we pray that Catholics in Ireland will rise up in a massive and immediate spiritual and peaceful protest and petition the University College Cork to CANCEL this blasphemy now!

  1. I have contacted UCC and have encouraged others to do the same.

  2. There should be a Rosary of Reparation in front of UCC, those unable to attend should offer in private, their prayers and sacrifices in reparation to Our Lady so deeply offended today!

    Our Lady, pray for us!

We are deeply offended that this is coming to UCC and being funded by our taxes!!!

  5. I like your blog, and I came across it when I was researching about Alma Lopez, she has an agenda of attacking Our Lady and Her purity and to flout all that is sacred to Catholics. We must stand up and face her attack and not hide under a bushel.
    Saint Patrick, pray for us

  7. How can a centre for learning be used in this way?
How can our taxes be used in this way?
How can Our Lady be blasphemed so openly in such a fashion?

    BY NOBODY DOING NOTHING

  8. I wish the ANF petitions weren't so deferential. That puts me off using them. Following requests from Irish readers I am going to post this one on the University of Cork art exhibition but I'm attaching a pdf with some suggestions to strengthen the message. They're always so polite, so "asking a favour" that I seldom use them.

Please, a bit of backbone - stop sounding as if you're asking for a favour. It is an OUTRAGE when blasphemy occurs and we must INSIST and DEMAND that they put an end to it. Not "respectfully" urge them. For heaven's (literally) sake, remember that you are confirmed soldiers of Christ to fight in defence of the Faith, not bow and scrape before these devils.

  9. Is there a website reference stating it is being sponsored by Bord Failte/Failte Ireland the main tourism body in Ireland?

I'm told Fiona Buckley is head of operations in Cork

  10. People in Ireland are doing something. Emails and phonecalls have been sent to UCC. Many people are now getting answering machine messages hence the volume of protest.

The event will be picketed if it is not cancelled. The Church militant is alive and well in Cork and Ireland.

Do not get disheartened but have the conviction to defend Our Lord and Our Lady in the public sphere.
