What does "enlevo" mean?

 

The Portuguese word "enlevo" is defined as the state of spirit of someone who marvels or admires.  Some translate "enlevo" as ecstasy.

However, the context of the Saint Joan of Arc statue, we used the word "enlevo" to mean a transforming admiration.

In other words, Saint Joan was transformed and uplifted by her admiration for the holy cause she served.

This is evident in the beautiful statue we described below.
