Three months ago, the Hawaiian House of Representatives shelved a same-sex civil unions bill that everyone thought made it a dead issue.
Now, we find out that the House leaders suspended the rules and on the last day of the legislative session just passed the bill with a simple majority and sent it on to Governor Lingle to sign. No debate – they just rammed it through.

This is an issue of concern for all Americans. Hawaii is one of the first states to put through a constitutional amendment in favor of traditional marriage. It led the way for the other states to do the same.
Now all eyes nationwide should be turned to Governor Lingle asking her to veto this bill that was put through in such a manner. Everyone knows that this bill will be used by the homosexual movement nationwide to push through their civil unions and same-sex “marriage.”
