A story from Pakalert Press says that there were over 7000 earthquakes in the past 30 days, as well as 66 volcanoes that are erupting right now all over the world.
I checked this out and found a listing of all the earthquakes, their intensity and location. It is not hard to believe this news alert, especially when one considers the growing number of direct and blasphemous attacks on the Sacred Person of Jesus and Mary, and on the Catholic Faith too.
Yesterday, I posted a protest alert against the terrible sacrilege at the London Gallery of Art, in which the famous Fra Angelico painting of the Annunciation has been repainted and depicted in the moist vile and pornographic manner possible.
Abomination and Horrific Sacrilege
Today, I post a new anti-blasphemy alert. This time about a sacrilege in Peru.
READ WITH CAUTION: Very disgusting!
The blasphemy is going on right now in a Gallery in Lima, Peru, where the exhibit "So be it" of sculptor Cristina Planas is on display.

On display are colorful sculptures of human bodies living and dead, totally nude and many with halos on their heads, representing several Saints of the Catholic Church: Saint Rose of Lima, Saint Martin de Porres, St. John the Baptist, Saint Sebastian, etc..
Several appear as heaped in disorder, in grotesque positions, sharing a "mass grave" with a sculpture of the artist, dead and naked.

But undoubtedly the most abhorrent sacrilege of all is an image of Jesus Christ naked and lifeless on a table, with arms extended to the sides and crown of thorns on his head. His body is traversed by scanner lights, the meaning of which is implied by a sign that reads: "Anatomy Lessons - 2012." How lovely that lowers the body of the Man-God?!
From the mouths of the sculptures emerge strips of metal on which are printed parts of the Our Father, as "Thy will" and other prayers of Catholic piety.
This is a brief description of the exhibit. There’s no need to explain why this is so offensive to the divine Person of Jesus Christ, and to the others saints involved.
Anyone with common sense, and a bit of moral sense, can see how these grotesque, obscene and outrageous sacrileges are deeply offensive to all Catholics and God-fearing persons.

This blasphemous exhibit is just one more example of how insults to Catholicism are growing.
Thank God, the exhibit is causing outrage among the locals, especially because it is being the municipal authorities, who use public resources to offend the Catholic faith!
We must repair this sin. We must express our rejection of this sin with our protest and reparation.
Please remember that protests are effective and that, two years ago, an equally blasphemous exhibit by the same sculptor was shut down because of strong local protests, which quickly spread throughout the country
It’s time for us Catholics to stand up and to protest this insult to God and to our religion. Let us speak out now!

But, unfortunately, the very great majority of Catholics won’t speak out. Instead, they will keep on slumbering. In the Garden of Olives, they also slumbered…

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter if the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary has been done or not, what matters is that it is a good thing and should be done again, again, again, and again! and it would be a great idea if it was done every year. And if our Blessed Mother can save 70,000 people from being burnt by the sun when their cloths were dried at Fatima, what makes anyone think that she wouldn't save her children if they, the Bishops and Pope, mention Russia who Pope John Paul II said she is awaiting for their consecration.
ReplyDeleteYou say "There’s no need to explain why this is so offensive to the divine Person of Jesus Christ, and to the others saints involved." However, I think there definitely is! How do you expect to gain support from other people, people who perhaps don't share your faith or are not that educated in matters of religion, to understand why you are protesting this exhibition?
ReplyDeletePlease do explain why you find it offensive, I am really trying to understand where you are coming from and some concrete, well reasoned motivations would help tremendously on getting people on your side.
