Over 6,500 members of America Needs Fatima have sent in a protest message against the blasphemous play "Jerry Springer: The Opera" that is scheduled to be shown at the Boston Center for the Arts on May 1.

That's a great start.  But that's not enough.  We must keep on promoting the protest message to more Catholics because the “opera” defies description in detail since it contains so much nudity and blasphemous content. Some examples include:

  • The crucifixion is mocked and the Eucharist is trashed
  • There is a lady singing “Jerry eleison” (mocking the Mass: Kyrie Eleison)
  • Jesus is introduced as “the hypocrite son of the fascist tyrant on high.” He wears a diaper, is fat and effeminate and later admits: “Actually, I am a bit gay.”
  • Eve gropes Jesus in a manner too indecent to describe while the Annunciation is described as a rape.
  • God is a fat man in a white suit who complains about being blamed for everyone’s problems. He invites Jerry Springer to join Him to “sit in Heaven beside me, hold my hand and guide me.” At the end, Jerry emerges as the true savior of mankind.

Here's a sample protest message you can send to the Boston Center of the Arts and here is their email address:

Boston Center for the Arts:

As a Catholic, I vehemently protest your hosting "Jerry Springer: The Opera".  I have read a description of this play and am shocked at its blasphemous representation of things absolutely sacred to our Faith.  The production deeply offends Catholics.  Would you do a play that offends Muslims or Jews?  I urge you NOT to host "Jerry Springer: The Opera" and to apologize for scheduling this terrible offense to God's honor.
