This picture is of our group of about 20 people who participated in the Public Square Rosary.
In fact, we are in the lovely shrine across the street from St. Alphonsus Church, on a fairly busy road. The banner is attached to a wrought iron fence.
The temperature was only 28 degrees that day. I was glad to see that people showed up. One lady, who was in her early 90's, suggested praying the Rosary in the lovely month of May as well.
That we did, but only a half dozen people showed up.
I'm hoping and praying the idea of public Rosaries will catch on in my church.
