Picture of the kitten that Our Lady sent to Kathleen...

My Goddaughter, Kathleen Jordan, was sitting in the car with her mother, waiting for her father and brothers to come out of WalMart.

Yesterday, her brothers were going to bring home a kitten from a girl at school, but that didn't work out. So Kathleen was pretty sad as she sat in the car wishing she had a cat.

She asked: "Mommy, why can't I get a kitten?

Her mother said: "If you want a kitten, then pray to Our Lady for one."

So, that is what Kathleen did.  She prayed.

Ten minutes later, a lady knocked on the car door and asked: "Would you like a kitten? I have 4 in the box. You can pick the one you want."

Kathleen was amazed!  She picked the kitten that she liked most, and thanked the lady for it.

The lady went away saying "God bless!"

So, the picture above is of the kitten that Our Lady gave Kathleen in answer to her prayer.

How about that!

Maybe there is a Protestant reading my blog who will read this story and know that Our Lady answers our prayers.  Our Lady is the Mother of God, but ours too.

She answers our prayers, small and great.

If she answers the prayers of a little girl for a kitten, something relatively small in light of eternity, how much more will Our Lady give us when it is for our spiritual well being!

Our Lady, Consoler of the Afflicted, pray for us!
