The Rosary Rally Captain, using a bull horn, called all in the neighborhood of 138th Street and Alexander Ave in the Bronx to join in the Public Square Rosary that was about to begin. She was telling all, that Our lady was present and that their city recovering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy was in need of their prayers.
She also reminded all those in earshot that Our Lady at Fatima called for conversion and prayer. That our country, city and all those that inhabit it, needed their prayers. Even the police from the precinct across the street from the rally were invited to pray for the difficult job they have.
If you drive through the Bronx on the first Saturday of any particular month, you are more than likely to see one of several Public Square Rosary Rallies that are being held at 12:00 noon. This past October 13th there were around 200 Rosary Rallies in the Bronx alone, where there was a total of 9,077 Rallies being held nationwide on that day. Many of these Rosary Captains, convinced of the importance of their public prayers, have continued their Rosary Rallies monthly.
During the Rosary Rally, Rosaries and Miraculous Medals were being given out to those who passed by. There were even a handful of people who stopped and joined the rally. After the rally was finished, comments were heard from people in the neighborhood, thanking those present for praying in their neighborhood, about how much their prayers were needed.
There is a growing realization among the faithful, that if the world is to return to God's order, that it will come only from God's graces called down by our prayers and sacrifices and not by a world that has drifted off from God's laws.
Viva Cristo Rey! Viva!
