Last Saturday, members and volunteers for America Needs Fatima traveled on pilgrimage to Omaha Nebraska to venerate the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima.
We visited Her at Assumption Catholic Church in Omaha. The custodian greeted us very warmly. We asked if we could bring a beautiful bouquet of flowers to place near Our Lady to which he readily agreed.
After explaining the significance of the statue to the volunteers we entered the Church prayed for a while and then in unison brought the bouquet of flowers to Our Lady. The message writen on a beautiful red ribbon said, "Our Lady of Fatima Pray for Us, from America Needs Fatima".
All pilgrims completed page after page of petitions to humbly place before Our Lady. Included in everyone's intentions were prayers for the success of the Public Square Rosary Campaign as well as for the rally captains who so bravely are organizing public rosaries in their communities. We prayed also for those who will join the captains in their rallies.
All agreed that Our Lady looked very sad, as though She had just stopped weeping. We did our best to offer Our Lady our consolation.
After spending a couple of hours before Our Lady we traveled to the hotel for a good night's rest. The next morning we attended Mass, had a nice lunch and then traveled back to Topeka to rest for the next day's work for Our Lady answering phones and placing calls.
