What If Your Rally Was Small on Saturday?

    For some rally captains there can be disappointment if attendance was less than what was hoped for.  Do not be discouraged!

Who said children cannot do rosary rallies?

Large numbers are great, but what I believe Our Lady is looking for, is a love and devotion to Her that is large in the soul.  If you, and only a few others had the love and devotion to show up to honor Our Lady, imagine how pleased Our Lady was to see that you loved Her above all else that day.
    How alone was Our Lord during His passion?  Even his apostles and disciples abandoned Him, there remained only: St. Veronica, the Holy Women, St. Simon of Cyrene, St. John, the Good Thief, some others and most importantly, Our Lady.  Our Lord gave His Sacred Countenance to St. Veronica, He granted eternal salvation to the Good Thief, and He gave Our Lady to the care of St. John as a recompense for their fidelity.  I believe that we can also have confidence in Our Lady, and that despite our unworthiness, that She will grant us an abundance of graces as well.
    Our Lady knows what it is like to be alone, to see Her Son, the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity loved by only a few, instead of by the multitudes.  But know, that, just as Our Lord treasured the adoration of those few, I am confident that He will also treasure the veneration that was offered to His Mother, whether by large groups or by small this past Saturday.

    The last thing that Campaign Director Francis Slobodnik did Friday evening before leaving, was to close his email account after answering final emails.  The moment he clicked on the close option, his computer screen went black and shut down.  Despite several attempts to restart it, nothing would happen. 
    You may have had various obstacles in preparation for your Rosary Rally.  Little harassments from the devil.  Such devices are used sometimes to discourage us and either prevent us from doing good, or reduce the amount of good that we otherwise would do.  Hopefully, you cast these obstacles aside and proceeded forward to honor Our Lady!
