Rosary Rally in Monticello NY, Rally Captain Mr. Kit Kroeger.
More Rally Reports and News Arrives
Today we received an entire small tray from the post office full of rally reports from Our Lady's rally captains.
We received one from a rally captain by the name of Norman Rademacher in Saint Johns, MI, population 7,485. The population number is significant because there were 207 people present at this rally. If a city with a population of a million had the same percentage of participants, there would be over 27,000 present. That particular rally captain expressed a wish in his report to have been able to do more to get even more to attend.
Another rally captain from Miami Beach Florida commented on how happy the participants were to know that their rally was part of a nationwide effort. She even used the term goosebumps to describe how the participants reacted to that news of being part of a large national event.
A captain from Crestline Ohio who had 128 at her rally, commented on how pleased she was that her pastor promoted the rally so much. He put announcements in the parish bulletin about the rally for several weeks. He also had postcards sent out to all of the parishioners about the rally.
A captain from Hermitage Pennsylvania gave an inspiring description of her rally. The 200 present marched through the streets of their town with a statue of Our Lady and the banners. Along the way they sang hymns to Our Lady. Each participant carried a flower and at the end of the rally each one approached Our Lady and placed their flower before Her. Beautiful handkerchiefs were made for the occasion and given to the participants to wave to Our Lady.
Another captain from Cincinnati Ohio had her pastor involved as well as the Knights of Columbus and a Catholic Radio Station. During her rally there were three children who carried roses in honor of Our Lady.
