Wave of profanation of the Blessed Sacrament spreads worldwide -- reparation needed!

Last week, the Holy Eucharist was desecrated several times in the South American country of Ecuador.

According to news reports, the desecrations of the Blessed Sacrament were carried out by people angry at the Ecuadorian Bishops for criticizing the new anti-life Constitution proposed by socialist president Raphael Correa.

Whatever the motivation behind these profanations of the Blessed Sacrament in Ecuador, these deeds are still outrageous and sacrilegious.

Moreover, they fit into a worldwide trend to desecrate the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ across the globe.

In the USA, we witnessed the horrific case of Prof. Meyers who profaned the Holy Eucharist by piercing a consecrated host with a rusty nail.

In Venezuela, a tabernacle full of consecrated hosts was stolen.  The gold encrusted tunic of a statue of the Infant Jesus was stolen.

In Argentina, a monstrance with the Blessed Sacrament inside was stolen.

Several consecrated hosts were stolen in Mexico.

Bells were stolen from oratories in Guatemala.

In Chile, the statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Patroness of that country, was burnt beyond recognition.

Add to these sins those of pro-abortion and pro-homosexual politicians and activists who receive Holy Communion repeatedly throughout the world.

These sins need reparation.  But where is this reparation?

Please make a serious effort to offer reparation for this wave of profanations.

In 1917, Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children asking them: "Are you willing to offer yourselves to God and bear all the sufferings He wills to send you, as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and of supplication for the conversion of sinners?"

They replied "Yes".

Our Lady went on to say: "Then you are going to have much to suffer, but the grace of God will be your comfort."

But, She also gave them fortitude and hope.

Our Lady opened her hands, communicating to them a light so intense that, as it streamed from her hands, its rays penetrated their hearts and the innermost depths of their souls, making them see themselves in God, Who was that light, more clearly than we see ourselves in the best of mirrors.

May Our Lady give us the strength to offer reparation and suffering to Our Lord for the horrible profanations done against His infinitely precious Body and Blood.
