Rosary Rally In Bridgeport, Connecticut

On Saturday December 13th a group of Catholics gathered in Bridgeport, CT to have a Rosary Rally. They braved the 20 degree temperature and sacrificed some of their time during this very busy season and pray in the public square.

Why? They considered it an early Christmas gift to the infant Jesus and his Holy Mother Mary. Similar to the Little Drummer Boy, they presented Our Lord and Our Lady with their humble gift of prayer, sacrifice and love.

Their intention was to make a public act of reparation for the sins and blasphemy’s committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The day also had additional significance, as it was the 100th anniversary of the birth of Professor Plinio Correa de Oliveira, a true Crusader of the 20th Century for the Catholic faith and founder of the TFP family of souls.

During the Rally the mayor of Bridgeport, CT waved to all assembled as he waited for a traffic light at the intersection.

One of the rally participants enchanted young and old alike when she recanted her father’s description of the miracle of the sun that took place on October 17th at Fatima in 1917.

Her father was at the Cova da Iria during the apparition on Oct. 13th and remembered it well, even though he was very young at the time.

It was a very blessed event and all walked away with a warm heart, even though not much else was warm when they parted their ways. Until next they would meet, again to pray and honor their Mother and Lord Jesus. Our Lady of Fatima, Pray for us!
