Last week, the University of Notre Dame announced it would not add sexual orientation to its nondiscrimination clause. The decision was reportedly a "collective decision" made by top Notre Dame administrators, including Fr. John I. Jenkins, Notre Dame’s president.
That announcement sparked a number of protests including a student led vigil, a number of professors speaking out, and now 113 faculty on campus have signed a public letter urging the administration to change its mind. Read more:
