Ask Amazon.com to STOP carrying a book that has impure photos of Our Lady of Guadalupe

How much longer will God put up with the blasphemies against the purity of His Most Holy Mother?

The latest is the new book called Our Lady of Controversy: Alma Lopez’s Irreverent Apparition, being offered for sale on Amazon.com, the world’s largest bookseller.

On the cover is a photo of Our Lady of Guadalupe in a floral bikini.

Please petition to Amazon.com to stop carrying this blasphemy!

According to Amazon’s website, the book refers to:

“Months before Alma López's digital collage Our Lady was shown at the Museum of International Folk Art in 2001, the museum began receiving angry phone calls from community activists and Catholic leaders who demanded that the image not be displayed. Protest rallies, prayer vigils, and death threats ensued, but the provocative image of la Virgen de Guadalupe (hands on hips, clad only in roses, and exalted by a bare-breasted butterfly angel) remained on exhibition.”

Do you think Amazon would carry a similar book about Mohammed’s wife or daughter?

Of course, they would not.

Then why is Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Mother of God, blasphemed? And this is considered acceptable.

That’s why I ask you to petition Amazon.com to please remove this blasphemous book called Our Lady of Controversy: Alma Lopez’s Irreverent Apparition.

Here’s a sample message that you can use:

To Amazon.com:

This is a respectful request, asking you to remove the book Our Lady of Controversy: Alma Lopez’s Irreverent Apparition from your inventory.

This book is blasphemous and highly offensive to Catholics, especially to Mexican-Americans who dearly love Our Lady of Guadalupe.

It would be much appreciated if you would respect our religious and ethnic sensitivities and STOP offering this book on your website.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
