You are urgently requested to protest an impure blasphemy against Our Lady of Guadalupe...

The Oakland Museum of California is hosting an art exhibit that includes a digital portrait of Our Lady of Guadalupe wearing a bikini, held aloft by a topless woman-angel!

And it will be on public display until May 29!

You and I cannot sit by idly and do nothing about this awful blasphemy! We must do reparation and lift up our voices in peaceful and prayerful protest.

On behalf of the Virgin of Guadalupe’s honor, please do something – something peaceful and prayerful -- write, call or send a fax to:

Sample message that you can send:

The Oakland Museum of California,

I strongly protest against your displaying the Alma Lopez digital photo of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which depicts the Most Holy Virgin in a floral bikini, held up by a topless woman-angel.

The Holy Mother of God is most pure and sacred. To portray her in such a shameful and immodest state is an unspeakable blasphemy, which I reject with all my soul. I fear God’s wrath will fall upon us if reparation is not made.

I urge you to remove this exhibit immediately! If you continue with it, we will oppose it in one of the largest and loudest peaceful and legal protests ever seen.
