Archbishop will lead protest prayers against blasphemous play

In recent times, it has been extremely rare to see a high ranking Catholic prelate take a public stand against a blasphemous and anti-Catholic play or movie.

Even in 2006, during the months that preceded the much hyped launch of the blasphemous Da Vinci Code movie, to the best of my knowledge, only one or two high ranking Church officials said anything against the movie, and then, only very shortly before the film was actually released in theaters.

So now, the fact that the Cardinal Archbishop of Paris will lead protest prayers at Notre Dame Cathedral against the blasphemous play Golgotha Picnic, is a truly noticeable and welcome shift.
