According to news reports, after weeks of speculation, the singer Madonna was confirmed to be the performer for the halftime show of Super Bowl XLVI, which will air live on February 5th from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Few singers in history have been as blasphemous against Our Lord and Our Lady or the Catholic Faith as has Madonna.
Some of her songs, albums and shows twist Catholic themes and intertwines them with impure subjects such as songs Like a Virgin, Like a Prayer, Goodbye to Innocence, and in her album The Immaculate Collection.
Also, Madonna performed a mock crucifixion in Rome, nearby the Vatican, in which she wore a fake crown of thorns and descended on a suspended, glittery cross as part of her worldwide "Confessions Tour."

About the Madonna Confession show in Rome, Cardinal Ersilio Tonino said:
"This time the limits have really been pushed too far. This concert is a blasphemous challenge to the faith and a profanation of the cross. She should be excommunicated."
Rather than repent or apologize, Madonna belittles and blasphemes the Catholic faith.
That’s why she should NOT perform at the 2012 Super Bowl. The NFL should NOT offer Madonna a worldwide platform. That would be an endorsement of her anti-Catholicism.
Let’s face it -- the NFL would NOT hire an anti-Muslim or anti-homosexual singer for the 2012 Super Bowl. Absolutely NOT. Then why an anti-Catholic?
The anti-Catholic bias must stop. So please act NOW.
Why biased? They have their own opinion
ReplyDeleteAnother suggestion would be to not watch the SuperBowl and not buy her daughter's new line of clothing "Material Girl" at Macys. Turn off the radio when you hear a Madonna song or not watch any of her movies or performances. Let's take action through our own self control ather then expecting it from others.
