Catholic church in Kenya attacked; Al Shabaab suspected

CWN - A Catholic church in northern Kenya was attacked with grenades on September 25, in what is believed to be another action by the Somalian terrorist group Al Shabaab.

Assailants threw two grenades at the church in Wajir, then shot at police before making their escape, the Vatican newspaperL’Osservatore Romano reports. Gunmen opened fire on police in another town nearby, killing two officers and wounding three others.  Read more:
